gente di genova

We want you to discover the scents of Liguria

Gente di Genova is born from the desire to make known the scents of Liguria through spirits other than those traditionally linked to the territory but still highly appreciated.

Therefore, wishing to represent Genoa, we could only choose Pesto as a name. However, the fragrances of our products are more varied and rich. Undoubtedly, basil is still the master and certainly the most identifying aroma.

The Basil

The production of PESTO GIN is mainly based on the fragrance of Basil. The freshly picked leaves are cleaned, dried and divided according to the recipe. Some are put in a highly alcoholic base for a few days and the remainder are left to macerate for 40 days in medium-strength juniper distillate.

GIN PESTO

GIN PESTO is an all-Italian and 100% natural gin, produced without the addition of preservatives or dyes.

The balance and aroma of GIN PESTO are perfected by a tasting panel, made up of real masters who evaluate the organoleptic characteristics of each individual product and then define the perfect blend.

Its velvety softness and sweet hints, typical of the Mediterranean, delicately enhance the distillate and at the same time the harmony of the aromas are reminiscent of the most famous and traditional condiment typical of Liguria: Pesto.

The flavor is enveloping and penetrating, the taste is strong, fruity and at the same time pungent and balanced. It is a distillate worthy of an “eau de parfum”.
